Between 8th October to 10th October, I and the G4s and G5s went to Camp Loola in Bintan. We did many fun activities including the SkyWalk and most I was scared of. Bintan was very fun and exciting for me!
When we first went onto the ferry to Bintan, I was very excited for Bintan. We had many exciting fun times on the ferry to Bintan including when it started to move very fast and when I saw Bintan. The Ferry was about 1-2 hours. When we arrived at the Loola Camp by the bus, we had to wait a while and I chose a seat for lunch time. They gave us dish bags to wash when we are done eating and utensils before lunch. When we got lunch, it was like a buffet but I was fine with it, but the worst thing is that they kept it out for a very long time and flies flew around it. After we ate lunch, G4 and G5 including me went doing the activities. I was in Ms Tilney and Ms Adamberry’s group which was Group 4. On the first day we did Safe Water Garden building which was very fun and exciting and on the second day we did the Rock Climbing and the high Flying Fox Zipline. On the second day we also did kayaking, dragon sailing and boom-netting! On the last day we then did coconut tree climbing and the very tall scary SkyWalk. After we did the coconut tree climbing and skywalk we went back and changed to school uniforms and packed our things. Then we waited outside at the carpark area for the buses to come. Ms Vaughan told us to go to the toilet too. On the Ferry going back to Singapore we ate lunch and bananas and I talked to the Singapore Bintan advisor that came with us and made comics for her to read. Her name is Rebecca. When we got off the ferry I was very happy that I was back in Singapore but the worst part of going out is the Immigration because i had to go to the normal people's Immigration instead of the school Immigration. I had a very fun time and wonderful time in Bintan! My favourite part of the camp is meeting my family again too!
